Each January, our district joins the state in celebrating School Board Appreciation Month. Last Thursday, we hosted a reception to express our sincere gratitude to Fort Bend ISD’s Board of Trustees. Board Approves 2026-27 Instructional Calendar
The Board approved the 2026-27 school calendar. The option chosen received the highest ratings from our stakeholders when surveyed about their calendar preferences. Find both the English and Spanish calendar for 2026-2027 by visiting the calendar section of our website at fortbendisd.com/calendar.
Long-Range Boundary Planning Updates
As part of Fort Bend ISD’s Long-Range Boundary Planning process and commitment to transparency, we are providing the following updates:
- Draft boundary plans were shared with the community in December. As an immediate follow-up, a community survey was released from January 14-25, 2026, to obtain feedback on the draft boundary plans.
- Staff and the boundary planner are reviewing feedback. No final decisions have been made at this time.
- Survey results will be presented on February 9 at a Special Called Board Meeting.
- A public dashboard with survey data will be available on February 10.
