FBISD Levels Up to “B” Rating in Texas Education Agency 2024-25 Accountability Rating System
FBISD is proud to announce the Texas Education Agency awarded the district a "B" rating for the 2024–25 school year under its accountability rating system – a letter-grade improvement from last year’s “C” rating.
TEA’s accountability ratings evaluate Texas school districts based on student achievement, school progress and efforts to close learning gaps.
The increased rating reflects academic progress across the district.

Special Called Meeting Provides Information on District’s Long-range Boundary Plan
FBISD’s Board of Trustees held a Special Called Meeting on Monday where Bob Templeton from Zonda Education, the district’s external boundary planner, provided introductory information about long-range boundary planning in the district.

New State Law Limits Student Use of Communication Devices During School Day
Students in grades 2 through 12 are allowed to bring cell phones or other communication devices to campus, however, the devices must be powered off and stored in the student’s backpack during the school day—from the first bell to the dismissal bell.
