Hello Everyone,
Spread the word and ask around. We are looking for career day presenters! Parents typically fill in the classroom spots, but I am working on getting "keynote speakers" for larger groups as well, like the fire department or the aquarium.
Message for Newsletters:
Hello Everyone,
We are looking forward and planning ahead. Our schedule is packed as we close out this school year, but we couldn't end our year without Career Day!! If you are willing and able to share your occupation and your passion with our students, please sign up to be a presenter for Friday, May 1, 2026!!
Don't want to present, but still willing to help? We need volunteers, too! There are sections available to volunteer to give mock interviews for 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade.

Thank you,

When your child is absence, please send attendance notices to AttendanceSWE@Fortbendisd.gov
Also, please note that absences of four or more days require medical documentation.
Pg 35 of the FBISD Student Parent Handbook:
Doctor’s Note After an Absence for Illness Upon return to school, a student absent for four or more consecutive days because of a personal illness must bring a statement from a doctor or health clinic verifying the illness or condition that caused the student’s extended absence from school. Notes must be turned in within five school days of the student’s return to campus. Otherwise, the student’s absence may be considered unexcused. Should the student develop a questionable pattern of absences, the principal or attendance committee may require a statement from a doctor or health clinic verifying the illness or condition that caused the student’s absence from school in order to determine whether the absence or absences will be excused or unexcused. See Policy FEC (LOCAL).
