FORT BEND ISD (September 26, 2019) – During its September 23, 2019 meeting, Fort Bend ISD’s Board of Trustees approved the schematic design for Middle School 16, which will be constructed near Highway 6 and South Post Oak. Approval of the schematic design allows the District to move forward with the completion of design development and construction documents needed to begin work on the school.

On December 17, 2018 the FBISD Board approved Corgan, a leading architecture and design firm, to prepare construction documents and specifications for Middle School 16, with a project budget of $10,167,072. The school will be designed in accordance with the FBISD educational specifications and will be the District’s first Net-Zero building designed to generate as much energy as it consumes.
