Hi!  My name is Linnie Ford and I am so excited to be a part of the Malala team! I have been at MYE since it opened, but this will be my twenty-fourth year teaching.  My experience has been in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade classrooms, as well as being an ESL support teacher.  However, teaching first-graders is my passion!  They are so excited about school and learning that they remind me of little sponges, soaking up all the knowledge they can.  We will work hard and do a lot of growing up in first grade. In addition to teaching, I love playing tennis, spending time with my husband, visiting my parents, and playing with my three dogs.  I am looking forward to getting to know all my students and working together with them and their families to make this a successful year!
