Hi! My name is Ashley Starr (formerly Osborn) and I am absolutely ecstatic to be your child's Fifth Grade English Language Arts and Social Studies teacher! Being a product of Fort Bend ISD where I attended elementary, middle, and high school, I am thrilled to be teaching in the same amazing district I grew up in. In 2015, I earned my B.S. in Teaching and Learning from the University of Houston and am certified EC-6. I have found that mistakes are the greatest lessons learned and instill this concept in my students to encourage them to be lifelong learners. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, reading, traveling, dancing, and working out. I recently got married this summer, in July 2023 and am now Mrs. Starr!

I am delighted to be part of the Madden family again and I look forward to all of the exciting adventures that your child and I will discover and learn together! Go Huskies!
