I attended LeTourneau University and graduated magna cum laude with a B.S. in Business Administration. Prior to entering the education field eight years ago, I worked as a paralegal for over fifteen years in the area of personal injury civil litigation.
I have been married for over nineteen years and have four children; one daughter and three sons. I have a daughter who graduated from Texas Tech University and a son who graduated from U of H. I also have two boys at home; one is a sophmore at Strake Jesuit, and the other is an eighth grader here at Thornton. You can usually find me on a baseball or soccer field every weekend!
I have a passion for reading and one of my goals every year is to ignite that same passion in my students. I am an ABYDOS trained teacher and look forward to teaching my students strong reading and writing strategies. I will challenge them and create a classroom environment that encourages students to work collaboratively with their peers.
I am really looking forward to this school year and feel privlideged to have the opportunity to teach your child. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns you have at anytime.
