Wildcats are WILD about learning!
My name is Troi Moore. I am very excited and honored to be teaching at Mission West Elementary this year. I have been a part of FBISD since in 2008, and am currently part of an awesome 2nd grade team.
I graduated from BF Terry High School, in Rosenberg, Texas in 1995. I then ventured off to LSU where I graduated with a bachelors’ degree in Business Administration in 2000. It was at LSU where I met my lovely wife, Anitra Moore – who came from a family of educators. It was her and her mother who convinced me to give teaching a try. I went through an Alternative Certification Program at Louisiana Collage and obtained my teaching certification. I have been teaching ever since and feel that I have found my true calling – helping children become life-long learners! I am truly grateful and thankful for my wife and her mother for getting me into the profession.
I live in Richmond, Texas with my lovely wife of 17 years, who is the 8th grade counselor at David Crockett Middle School here in Fort Bend ISD. We have a daughter, Angel, who is 15 (soon to be sweet 16) years old. She going into her second year in high school as a sophomore at George Bush High School here in FBISD.
I am very proud to part of this awesome Mission West family - where Discovery meets Learning every day!
