Welcome Wildcat Parents!  I am so excited to be your child’s teacher this year.  In Kinder, you will see tremendous growth in your child’s life especially academically; this is the reason why I teach Kindergarten!

   I graduated from Houston Baptist University with a double major in Bilingual and Elementary Education.  Later, I received my Reading Recovery Certification (both in English and Spanish) and Early Childhood Certification.  In the last 28 years, I have worked in and out of the classroom: (Bilingual Teacher, Bilingual Literacy Specialist, ESL Support Teacher and as a Reading Recovery Teacher) but I seem to always end up in the classroom because it feels like home!
