Hi! Welcome to my home page. My name is Mrs. Patti Hatton, and I am a 3rd grade teacher at Oakland Elementary. I have been a teacher for 32 years. Throughout my career I have taught 1st grade, 2nd grade, 3rd grade, and 5th grade. I have also served as a reading interventionist. My education began in Fort Bend ISD at Lakeview Elementary and ended at John Foster Dulles High School. I received my teaching degree from Abilene Christian University. I am married to Chris Hatton who served as a pilot in the Air Force for 10 years and is now employed by Unleaded Communications as their Chief Technology Officer.
I have five children who are grown, but my baby is a Yorkie named Boo. I enjoy cuddling and playing with my grandchildren, Auden, Avett, Adler, Anson, Trate, Tripp, Ellie, Barrett, Jayce, and Hadley. There are more on the way!
I enjoy reading and spending time with my family. I have a real passion for shopping! My husband and I enjoy the beach, fishing at Port O’Connor, and taking rides on our Harley. Our favorite team is the Houston Astros.
My classroom expectations stem from a simple philosophy—I expect all of my students to work hard and strive for success.
