Master of Business Administration - Tiffin University Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training - Concord University

Mr. Bryant Spencer, MBA, ATC, LAT

I'm the head athletic trainer for Dulles High School. I’m originally from Martinsville, Virginia. I received a soccer scholarship to attend Concord University in Athens, West Virginia where I received my Bachelors of Science in Athletic Training. Also, I have obtain my Master of Business Administration in Sports Management from Tiffin University. I have big plans in the sports industry; I have already done much in the world of athletic training, where I have experienced each level: high school, college and professional. One of my favorite memories is when I interned with the Seattle Seahawks the summer before my senior year of undergraduate. Because of this experience, I now hold the Seahawks as one of “my teams.” Also, in the past I worked as a Marketing Associate with the Houston Rockets, which I will gain value experience on the professional level. As far as my personal life, I am married to my best friend and she is the best thing that has ever happened to me. She is one of the biggest fans of sports I’ve ever met, so it’s enjoyable to spend time watching and playing sports. Additionally, I continue playing soccer, my main sport on a recreational basis in leagues around Houston. Overall, I am a fan of sports and passionate to help student-athletes achieve their goals.

After almost 15 years of discovering and pursuing the athletic training field, I have landed a position in one of the biggest school districts in Texas, working with some of the states’ finest high school athletes and football players. I truly enjoy being an athletic trainer, especially because I am able to lend a hand in preparing athletes to compete in the sport they love and assist in the general morale of each team I work with. In addition, I am able to teach aspiring students the elements of my career, how to perfect them and use the integrity of a health professional in other areas of life.
