I am currently in my sixthyear of teaching and I am excited to be returning for my fourth year at Sienna Crossing Elementary. I am a classically trained Bass-Baritone who graduated from Lousiana State University and I owe much of my path in life to the amazing music education I received growing up in FBISD schools. I am currently studying the Kodaly Method of music education, and almost fully certified in the Kodaly Method.
Outside of SCE, I am a staff singer at St. Francis Episcopal Church of Houston, where I also work as a Vocal Coach for their summer Musical Theater Program in July. Previously, I was an intern Assisstant director for the Cantate Sugar Land Youth Choir, and I sang with the Bach Society of Houston’s Bach Choir for two seasons, from 2014-2016. In my spare time, I love to read, listen to music, make puns and other terrible jokes, find more crazy socks to wear to school, and relax with my cat while watching TV.
