My name is Lubna Saleem and I am a Special Education Resource Teacher at Austin Parkway Elementary School.  I am a proud mother of two children. My son is  and m  After getting married into a family of teachers, I developed an interest in education and obtained a Bachelors Degree in Education from the University of St.Thomas. For the past eleven years, I  have taught in both HISD and FBISD. I was nominated as the Teacher of the Year when I taught in HISD. In my last school in FBISD,  I was the head of Special Education for two years  and a Team Leader for  three years.  I have a deep passion for teaching and my goal is to bring out the best in every child. I try to do this by  inspiring and equipping  them to develop their abilities beyond their imagination. I am deeply involved in several educational workshops for economically disadvantaged children.  I love to exercise, dance, cook, and travel.
