Bachelor degree in Elementary Education PreK-6th ESL Certification
Mrs. Donna Garcia
Hello! My name is Mrs. Garcia! This is my second year at PGE, but I have 20 plus years of teaching experience. I have a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education PreK- 6th, with a specialization in Early Childhood. During the 2019-2020 school year, I will be teaching Reading, Writing and Social Studies. One of my goals is to instill the love of reading to my students. I hope that they grow not only as a learner, but also as a person.
I am originally from Stafford but for the most part, I grew up in Fort Bend schools. After graduating from Stafford High School, I then attended college at Southwest Texas State University in San Marcos. I started my teaching career at Lamar CISD, but after getting married I moved to Laredo, Texas. My husband, Jesse and I have been married for 24 years. We have two college students, JD who is 21 years old and my daughter, Jessica is 19.
I am excited to be a part of the third grade team at PGE and I look forward to a great school year!
