Welcome to First Grade!

   My name is Ms. Rios and I am a First Grade Bilingual Teacher. This is my sixth year teaching at Ridgegate Elementary. I have taught Pre- Kindergarten, Kindergarten, and First grade. I enjoy setting the foundation for students' education in the primary grades. 

   I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Teaching and Learning from the University of Houston. I look forward to to helping and guiding students as they learn. This year is going to be a great adventure.

   I grew up in Houston and was an Alief ISD student. I graduated from Taylor High School. 

   I am excited to learn and grow with students!
