My name is Santiago Ibanez. I was born in Mexico and moved to the United States 30 years ago. I have been teaching for 20 years, 18 of them have been here at Townewest Elementary. I enjoy teaching all subjects, but my favorite are Math and Science. I have been married to my beautiful wife Leticia for 30 years, and we have two great kids. Arianna has followed mom and dad’s footsteps and is a teacher as well. Aaron is finishing his senior year of college in Chicago. During my free time I enjoy playing with my two-year-old grandson, Jordan, working on different projects around the house, watching T.V., listening to music, reading and spending time with the family.
