Welcome!

My name is Alina Rivera. I have the joy to invest in the life of my third grade students here at Ridgemont Elementary. My greatest satisfaction is to see their amazing minds being developed as they engage in learning.

I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Houston-Downtown. I have taught Pre-kindergarten, kindergarten, and this is my first year teaching third grade. 

I love spending time with my family and in my free time I like to spend time in the outdoors.

I want to continue equipping and inspiring students to a successful school year. Go Roadrunners!
