This is my seventh year at Garcia Middle School, and I am so happy to be a Garcia Gator! I have been teaching for a total of 8 years (starting my 9th). I moved down here from Illinois, where I went to High School. After high school, I went to Lawrence University of Appleton, WI for college. Lawrence is a small Liberal Arts college that specializes in music education and performance. I had 2 majors at school--music education and violin performance. I am still happy to have the opportunity to perform professionally in the Houston area, in addition to my first love, which is teaching orchestra.
