Hi, my name is Tina Haass and I’m excited to be teaching 2nd grade at Mary Austin Holley Elementary!  I was born and raised in Sugarland, Texas.  I have one brother and two children.   My children are older and have moved out of my house.  My son Zach turned 30 in April and my daughter turned 24 in June.   When I’m not teaching I enjoy traveling, reading, working in the yard, watching movies, going to the beach and hanging out with family and friends.

 I graduated with honors, from University of Houston with a B.A. in Elementary Education.  I am a product of FBISD and wanted to return to where I had grownup.   I attended Lakeview Elementary, Sugar Land Jr. High and Dulles High School.   I began my teaching career in the Fort Bend ISD.  This will be my 20^th year teaching in FBISD.  I began my career in FBISD teaching 4^th grade at Mission Glen Elementary.   I have also worked at Austin Parkway for several years teaching 4^th and 5^th grade and moved to Holley Elementary.    I have worked at Holley since it opened as an Elementary School.  I began working only with 4^th and 5^th grade students.   Then in 2014 I switched to 2nd grade and I love it!
