My name is Shelly Berry and this is my thirteenth year at Scanlan Oaks Elementary.  I am a Special Education teacher for grades K-5.

I have been married to my husband Sean for 25 years and we have three children.   I attended Stephen F. Austin State University and graduated in 1996 with a Bachelor of Science degree.  

In my free time I enjoy traveling, running, and spending time with friends.

My personal philosophy of teaching is to look for the teachable moment and celebrate the small victories. I believe all students can acheive their goals when given the tools needed.  I look forward to another successful school year at Scanlan Oaks Elementary!
