I grew up in this area and graduated from John Foster Dulles High School. My senior year in high school, I took a class to see if I might be interested in teaching. We went out and helped different teachers in their classrooms around the area. I was hooked! So, I attended and graduated from Texas State University in 1989 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education. I started teaching that next year. Curriently, I am in my 26th year of teaching. I have taught second, third and fourth grades. I have one daughter who is an eighth grader at Baines Middle School and two very spoiled dogs. I am very proud of my job and love each and every one of my kids.
