My name is Jaclyn Botello and I was born in Houston. I grew up in Sugar Land and I graduated from Kempner High School in 2001. I attended Warton County Junior College and earned my Associates in General Studies. Then I transferred to University of Houston-Downtown and I graduated in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies. Later on, I earned my ESL certification. I have taught kindergarten for eight years and first grade for 4 four years. I am delighted to be part of a wonderful school!
A little bit about me, I come from a huge family. I have four sisters and one brother. My husband, Jason and I married in June 2006. We have two precious girls. Brooklyn was born in August 2012 and Harper was born in June 2015. These two are absolutely precious and they just adore being sisters! We love taking family vacations, going on adventures and spending time together. In my free time, I enjoy working on craft projects and creating products for the kiddos to use in the classroom. I love seeing the students in action and taking charge of their learning. Let's make it a great year!
