My family moved to the Sugar Land area when I was in fourth grade. I went to Lakeview Elementary. Later, I went to Dulles Middle School and Sugar Land Middle School, and then graduated from Dulles High School. I went to a few universities in Texas, trying to decide what I wanted to do. I settled down in Dallas. My first degree was in Art and Interior Design. I married my husband in 1984, after we met at University of North Texas. We moved to Sugar Land in 1999. I started in FBISD as a paraprofessional, and did that for over 13 years. I decided to go back to college to get my certification as a teacher. I started teaching at Mission Glen in 2009. For 2 the next years I taught at Dulles Middle School, working with FLITE/FLASH students. I came back to MGE in 2012. I love helping students find their way through the learning process because I understand how difficult school can be. I am very happy to still be here at “The Glen”.
