Hello, my name is Grace Theus. I've been married to my wonderful husband for only 4 and 1/2 years, and I have a 26 year old daughter.  This will be my 23rd year as a teacher, but my first year teaching second grade.  I will be teaching Math and Science.  

I grew up in Port Arthur, TX where I attended and graduated from Stephen F. Austin High School.  I then  attended Huston-Tillotson College in Austin, TX and received a Bachelors of Art in Accounting.  I later went on to attend The University of Houston Downtown to receive my certification in Education.  As a young girl, I always knew I wanted to be a teacher, but I went on to explore other avenues before becoming one.

My hobbies are woodworking, designing and being a handy woman.   Give me a hammer, and I think I'm Tim the Tool Man.  I love watching football, but my favorite sport is truly basketball (Go Rocket!!!).  

This year I'm so excited about teaching 2nd grade on campus, and hope to bring great knowledge to prepare my students for years to come.
