Ms. She'Nee Young, Principal

Greetings!

My name is She’Nee Young and I am the proud, new principal at Arizona Fleming Elementary.

I am humbled and honored to have this opportunity to join a school community with such a rich legacy of achievement and many points of pride. I share in the school community’s dedication to providing an enriching learning environment that will support students’ academic and social/emotional growth.

I am beginning my 16th year in education and my 9th year in Fort Bend ISD. I started my educational career as an English/Language Arts teacher prior to receiving a master’s degree in school psychology from Our Lady of the Lake University and transitioning into the role of licensed specialist in school psychology. After serving in this capacity for several years, I had the opportunity to serve as a coordinator in Fort Bend ISD’s Learning Support Services department, providing support and oversight in the areas of academic and behavioral interventions and Section 504.

I wholeheartedly believe that access to a quality education can positively impact the trajectory of a person’s life. I strive to collaborate with the students, staff and community to create a positive learning experience where students and educators grow while being seen, heard and cared for. Educators and students alike will inspire and be inspired as they learn, collaborate and take risks that will lead to innovation and collective success. I aim to build and maintain relationships with all stakeholders, while collaborating with the remarkable team at Fleming to always push beyond the instructional boundaries in learning.

Mrs. Natacha Isaac-Bonaventure, Assistant Principal

I am so excited to be starting my 30th year of my educational career.  This will be my 4th year as an Assistant Principal in Fort Bend ISD.  I earned my bachelor’s degree from Florida Atlantic University and taught Pre-school for the first five years of my educational career in a Catholic School in Florida.  Then I taught Kindergarten- 5th grade in Broward County Public Schools in Florida.  I moved to Texas in 2006 where I spent 12 years teaching in Katy ISD. I then pursued my master’s degree in educational leadership at the University of St. Thomas because I was ready to take my educational career to the next level. I was a literacy Interventionist at Mission West for 2 years before becoming the Assistant Principal at Cornerstone Elementary, where I have been for the last 3 years.

I consider myself a motivated individual who believes organization is key.  I would like to believe that I have a flexible approach with a growth mindset.  I strongly believe in building relationship with my students and their families to build capacity on my campus.  I am here to serve the Arizona Fleming staff and families with all the passion I embody for continuous learning. I fully intend as the assistant principal of this campus, to help all students and faculty continue to pursue Excellence!
