My name is Erin McGee and I am an original Maverick!  This is my 21st year teaching History and my 4th year teaching US History here at Crockett.  I attended the University of Saint Thomas here in Houston, earning my B.A. in History and Secondary Education. I am currently working on my Masters Degree in School Counseling.

I have been married for 15 years and have 3 beautiful children ages 13, 11, and 8. History is a passion of mine – my goal is to share my joy for the subject with your students in a way that makes it fun and enjoyable for them too!  Hopefully their love of history will continue to grow throughout the year!
