Bachelors of Science/Elementary Education Masters in Occupational Technology - Training and Development

Mrs. Roberts

Watch Out! If you see me at school, you could be a part of our next great video or make it in the yearbook. My kids and myself are always up to creating new, interesting, and high-quality pieces as possible. My favorite part of teaching this elective is that I get to teach my students things that they could potentially do for a future career. From movie making to podcasting to learning how to run a broadcast studio, students leave my class with an idea of things that are possible for the future.

I received my Bachelors in Education from Stephen F. Austin (Go Jacks) and followed that with a Masters in Occupational Technology from The University of Houston (Go Coogs). I am married to Brian Roberts, an AP World History teacher and the Head Baseball Coach at Manvel High School. Together we are raising one amazing son.

When not on a baseball field cheering my husband and son on, you will find me outside being active. I am fanatic when it comes to working out and exercising. I love high-intensity bootcamps and group fitness, where I can be social. I get up very early before school each morning so I can be at my best during the day. It sets the tone for a healthy and happy day. My other favorite activity outside of school is gardening. I love the work that it takes to make a flower garden beautiful and then enjoying the fruit of my labor.

Rest assured that I love each and every single student that walks into my room. I look forward to making a positive impact on my students this school year.
