After being in the business world for fifteen years in the informations and communications industries as well as nonprofit organizations, I decided to take on new endeavors in the field of education in 1996. Now entering my 23rd year in the business of shaping new minds, I find that each year has become more rewarding that the previous. I have taught grades 4th through 12th in both ESL (English as a Second Language) and traditional English classes. Through my experiences in teaching, I have had the pleasure of watching children and young adults accomplish academic success, leading them to become productive members of society. Perhaps my most treasured reward is not only witnessing these successes in any given one-year period, but rather attaining gratification when students contact me many years later and tell me what a difference I have made in their lives. Teaching is truly a life-long career!
