This is my fifteenth year of teaching and my lucky fourteenth here at Baines. I'm an original Longhorn!  My heart is in sixth grade, so all but one of my years has been with the newbies here at BMS. I always taught ELA until last year with the beginning of Disocvery Class, Its been a great experience and I am very excited about this new year with new  challenges and opportunities! I'm married and have three grown sons. My husband and I are proud parents of four dog-daughters. They keep us busy during this empty nest transition time in our life. I love to travel, cook, read, and spend time with family and friends. I'm a life long learner and love learning and sharing new things with my teammates and students.
