This is my thirteenth year at Garcia and third year teaching sixth grade. I am from Louisiana, but attended high school in Texas. I graduated from McNeese State University in Lake Charles, Louisiana, and I moved back to Texas in 2000 and have been here ever since. I have three grandchildren that are currently at Austin High School and one still here at Garcia. I believe Garcia is one of the top middle schools in Fort Bend. I have Wednesday morning tutorials, but I also allow extra days with permission from me. Let's make this a great year.
