Welcome to the 2019-2020 school year HBMS Warriors!  I am Maggie Brambila, one of the 7th grade Pre-AP and 8th grade math teachers.  I have been teaching math for 7 years at HBMS.  I am a Houston native who attended Hastings High School and graduated from University of Houston-Downtown with a business degree in Finance.  I have two sons, Julian who is 7 and Jaden who is 4.

After college, I worked as an analyst for a loan mortgage company.  Four years later I decided that working in an office was not for me.  I needed to work in an environment where I can make a difference so I earned my alternative certification in math.

When I'm not teaching math, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling and catching up on my TV shows.

I look forward to helping students meet challenges and exceed expectations.  I expect to have a great year!!!
