Hodges Bend Middle School
I was born in North Carolina and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. As a child, I played football, basketball, and two instruments (clarinet and saxophone).
I attended Hampton University in Virginia, where I received a degree in History. At Hampton, I was a section leader in the marching band, and joined a music fraternity (1-5-1, Inc.). I later became the president of my fraternity.
I met my wife in college, and was married in 1994. I have two beautiful daughters. We relocated to New Jersey, where I began teaching in 1999. In the summer of 2007, I relocated to Texas and joined the Hodges Bend family. At Hodges Bend, I am a U. S. History teacher, Student Council advisor, and 7th grade football coach.
In 2010, I was selected as the HBMS Teacher of the Year. In 2011, I was selected as a finalist for FBISD Teacher of the Year. In 2015, I was selected at the Texas Association of Student Councils (TASC) Middle Level Advisor of the Year.
