Greetings parents and students,
Welcome to U.S. History! My name is Laurie Chernosky. I've been teaching at Hodges Bend since 1991. My husband and I have a son and a daughter who attended Lakeview, Sugar Land M.S. and are both graduates of Kempner High School. I love history because it helps me understand the present. I love using technology to solve problems. In my spare time, I volunteer for PugHearts of Houston Pug Rescue. I'm looking forward to guiding my students in their learning and seeing them develop critical thinking skills this year. My hope is that they will all reach their full potential to make our world a better place for everyone.
