Welcome to Mrs.LaKeisha Red's 8th grade science class website.    I began my teaching career in Opelousas, Louisiana at the Magnet Academy for Cultural Arts, 11 years ago.  I have been married for ten amazing years and am the proud mother of  11 year old twin boys.  I enjoy listening to music and spending time with my family.  I will gladly serve as your Science Fair Coordinator and Science Club sponsor this year.  I look forward to the many successes we will have this school year.  Let's go Hawks; we're getting prepared to take flight this 2019-2020 school year!
