I was born and raised in El Paso, Texas. I earned a Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Education/Social Studies from the University of New Mexico and a Master's Degree in Administration/Supervision from the University of Houston/Victoria.
I have taught in Fort Bend ISD for 25 years and have taught in the QVMS GT Academy for 12 years. I have a passion for teaching and I believe that I have the best job in the world as I get to work with the brightest, smartest, and most pleasant students in the world.
I am an avid runner and triathlete. I train for and compete in local 5Ks, half-marathons, and triathlons. I recently completed the 140.6 mile Ironman Texas in the Woodlands and the 70.3 mile Ironman Texas in Galveston. I also am a huge sports fan. My favorite teams are the Houston Texans, Dallas Cowboys, LSU Tigers, Nebraska Cornhuskers, Texas Longhorns, Houston Rockets, and Houston Astros.
A couple of favorite quotes of mine are "Do or do not, there is no try" and "If you believe you can or cannot do something you are probably right."
