• Husky Safety Patrol is an opportunity for students to practice leadership skills. They serve as role models for younger students and their peers. Because of this responsibility, Safety Patrol jobs are reserved for Fourth and Fifth grade students only.

All patrol members must meet the following behavior and academic guidelines prior to being selected and throughout their participation in safety patrol:

o   All behavior marks on their report card are above a “N”

o   All grades are at a 80 or higher on their report card and progress report

    o   Teacher recommendation

    o   No office referrals

Students not meeting the guidelines on their report card or progress report during the year will be placed on probation. If their grades improve, they will be put back on the schedule, per teacher recommendation. Any deficiency slips or behavior reports may jeopardize their job assignment.

Husky Safety Patrol requires students to spend additional time at school for their job.  Morning Flag Fliers are required to be at school by 7:40 a.m. Morning patrol students are required to be at school by 7:30 a.m. The morning Patrol will monitor and assist students entering the building or exiting their cars out front from 7:30-8:00 a.m. The afternoon Patrol will assist students to their car from 3:25-4:00 p.m.

We look forward to seeing our 4th and 5th grade Huskies grow with this wonderful opportunity.
