My name is Ms. Taylor and I have the pleasure of being your child's English I and English III teacher this year. I received my BA in Psychology from Southern Methodist University and have 20 years of teaching experience. I have taught all but 4th and 5th grades and am excited that I get to work with your son/daughter. In addition to teaching, I am a single mother, artist, avid reader, writer, world traveler, and motorcycle enthusiast. 

I intend to challenge your child by using a plethora of virtual learning tools. In addition, they will be exposed to traditional learning experiences that include exposing them to various genres of reading and authors, and pose questions that promote synthesis and analytical writing. While the class will be rigorous, it is my hope that students leave having learned not only literature but, an appreciation for language, words, and a feeling of pride.

My Tutorial schedule is Monday 3:45-4:15 p.m. If that time is not convenient for students, they are able to meet with any other English teacher during their scheduled conference time.
