Asian Relation & D4!

  • Asian Relation

Asian Relation, formerly known as Hallyu Society, is focused on gathering the Asian community at George Bush High School to create a bond based on the overlap and polarities of our respective cultures. To build this relationship, we plan on incorporating many icebreakers that segway into the meetings' activities. These activities can vary between having discussions on the cultural habits of different nations, to attending conventions and festivals. Asian Relation is where we can learn about and compare the variance between many Asian countries--and celebrate them.

Meetings:  Every other Friday from 3:15 - 4:00 PM

    D4!

D4! stands for Dream Dance Devote Dedicate! It is a K-pop dance group that stems from Asian Relation. D4! was created for anyone interested in learning the choreography for K-pop songs. The goal after perfecting each dance is to record a music video and even put on performances at pep rallies, iFest, and other school events.

    What is iFest?

International Festival, or iFest, is an annual school event where the students of Bush High School display their cultures through a rendition of their heritages' traditions, with the last exhibition being a fashion show.

Asian Relation hosts this event, so if you would like to request a performance, please contact Mrs. Villar or Mr. Lindsey.
