Hello! My name is Kristin Simmons, and I am a first grade teacher here at Madden Elementary! I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 2013 with a degree in Psychology, and went on to earn my teaching certification through University of Houston the following year. I joined Madden in its inaugural year in 2015, and this is my 7th year teaching first grade. My interests include spoiling my puppy, playing guitar, travelling, writing, and cooking! I love teaching, and am excited to see what the upcoming school year has in store for us!
