Hello,

My name is Renee Drummond and I am a 4^th grade English and Language Arts teacher here at Heritage Rose Elementary. I have served in many areas at Heritage Rose Elementary.  To name a few; I have proudly served as 4th grade team leader and mentored a number of novice  and student teachers who have come aboard at Heritage Rose Elementary.  I truly enjoy my life as a teacher and I look forward to each school year with high and great expectations as well as wonderful and exciting experiences for my students and colleagues.

 I grew up in Franklin Tennessee and I am now a proud resident of Stafford, Texas.  I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Paul Quinn College and worked in the banking industry for over 10 years.  I later obtained my teaching certification through Letourneau University and have been teaching for 16 years in the FBISD.  I have been married for 32 years and a proud mom of 3 children and a two year grandson.  My hobbies consists of playing the organ at my church and singing with my family gospel recording group.

I believe that each child is a unique individual who have different learning styles.  It is my desire as an educator to help my students meet their fullest potential in all areas by providing them with opportunities to learn things that are meaningful and relevant to their life’s interest.
