Hello, My name is Sonia Ibarrola Mason. I am very excited to start this school year as a bilingual teacher. Kinder grade is a year of learning, challenges and fun for students who always seek to apply the knowledge acquired in all the aspects of their lives. Now I'm going to tell you a little about myself. I am originally from Mexico City, and have been a teacher for over 25 years, 20 of them in Houston. I have one daughter named Ana Sofia, she has recently graduated from he University of Texas at Austin. I also have an adorable cat named Pequelu. I graduated as a teacher from Saint Thomas University and throughout my stay in Houston I have worked in the Fort Bend Independent School District. I hope very soon to meet all my students for school year.

Hola, Mi nombre es Sonia Ibarrola Mason. Estoy muy emocionada de comenzar este ciclo escolar siendo maestra bilingue. Kinder es un año de aprendizaje, retos y diversion para mis estudiantes que siempre buscan aplicar el conocimiento adquirido en todos los ambitos de sus vidas. Ahora les voy a hablar un poco de mi. Yo soy originaria de la Ciudad de Mexico, y he sido maestra por más de 25 años, 20 de ellos he enseñado en Houston. Tengo una hija llamada Ana Sofia, graduada recientemente de la Universidad de Texas en Austin. También tengo un pequeño gatito llamado Pequelu. Me gradue como maestra en Saint Thomas University y durante toda mi estancia en Houston he trabajado en el ditrito escolar de Fort Bend. Espero muy pronto conocer a todos mis alumnos de este ciclo escolar.
