Greetings and salutations! I’m Mrs. T. Martin,  the math lab teacher and Title I math specialist at Heritage Rose Elementary. I am also one of the Student Council advisors.  I have been teaching in Fort Bend Independent School District since 1998.  I am a native of Louisiana, born and raised in Baton Rouge.  I attended undergraduate school at Southern University and graduate school at Texas Southern University. Since I was a little girl, playing school, my dream was to become a teacher!  I LOVE teaching children to become confident problem solvers and help them change their growth mindset about math!  In my spare time, I enjoy shopping, singing, reading, traveling, spending time with my family and volunteering in my community with my sorority, Delta Sigma Theta.
