As a Sugar Land native and product of FBISD, I am excited to be the head athletic trainer at Austin High School. I graduated from Kempner High School and went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training at Texas State University (Eat 'Em Up Cats). Upon graduation, I returned to Fort Bend, starting my career as the assistant athletic trainer and Health teacher at Travis High School. I became the head athletic trainer at Travis in 2012 where I continued to work with returning injured athletes to their sports as well as developing the sports medicine program. I have been at Austin High School since 2020. I look forward to the growth and development of the sports medicine program as well as establishing a positive rapport with our athletes, staff, and community. 

I am passionate about the field of sports medicine and enjoy building relationships with our students and athletes.  I love being able to share life experiences and teach students life lessons that go beyond high school. 

When I am not on the field or court, I am wife to Daryl, and Momma to 3 spirited kiddos (and future Bulldogs). As a family, we enjoy hitting the trails and exploring the outdoors. I love a good book, speak fluent movie quotes, and good chips and queso is the way to my heart!
