I was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. I served thirty years in the United States Air Force. My career fields included sixteen years as a military training instructor, earning the designators of Master Military Instructor and Air Education and Training Command Master Instructor. In the latter part of my career, I worked as a superintendent at numerous informational systems management assignments. I previously taught AFJROTC courses at Elkins High School from 1993 to 2002. I moved to Marshall in the Fall of 2002.
