I was born in Mayagüez, Puerto Rico. Since I was a child the arts have been my passion and a way to understand how the world works. I decided to study art at the University of Puerto Rico to become an art teacher. During my career, I won a scholarship to study six months at the Autonomous University of Madrid. I have traveled to different countries to study Ancient Art and to appreciate different cultures. I have 10 years of experience teaching art in different grade levels. My vision as an art teacher is to encourage my students to appreciate art history and to transform their artistic experiences in an unique history.
