I graduated from the University of Houston-Downtown with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science. The study of World History assists students with the understanding of significant events and contributions from the prehistory period and early civilizations to the present day as well as the development of eastern and western cultures. The study of U.S. History assists students with the understanding of the history of the United States from Reconstruction to the present. The study of American Government assists students with the study of the structure and function of government and the development of political behaviors and philosophies. Civil rights and civil liberties, state and local governments and comparative governments are included. I began teaching in 2004 and have been in the district since 2012. My passion has always been in the social sciences. My wife and I have been married for almost 10 years. We are the proud parents of three children.
