Mr. Darin Humes

 

Darin Humes is an engineering instructor of Clements High School, which the STEM program began in the fall of 2015. Mr. Humes earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Technology Education from Ball State University and a Master of Education degree in Administration from Lamar University. He has successful completed four years of teaching, two years at Aldine ISD and four years at Fort Bend ISD. Mr. Humes sponsors for Technology Student Association (TSA) and the Clements National Honors Society.

Mr. Humes is certified to teach Technology Education (7-12) and Project Lead The Way (PLTW) courses in Intro to Engineering (IED) and Principles of Engineering (POE). IED and POE courses lay the foundation for students to be successful problem solvers, using modern technology and critical thinking skills to create solutions for real-world problems. Students use problem-solving techiques to develop actual solutions or products to meet the needs of the changing world.
