I am thrilled to take part of the Thurgood Marshall High School experience as a Social Studies teacher for the upcoming 2024-25 school year. With my experience facilitating learning in multiple settings, serving a broad range of learners, I am excited to bring my passion for education to this new community and create a positive and engaging learning environment.

 

 

 

As I embark on this new journey, I am reminded of why I became a teacher in the first place. As the great educator Rita Pierson once said, "Every child deserves a champion – an adult who will never give up on them, who understands the power of connection and insists that they become the best that they can possibly be." The students are the main reason I teach, and I am committed to supporting and empowering them to reach their full potential. I look forward to a successful and fulfilling school year ahead with my Buff Family!
