My name is Hui Fun Tan. I am a Pre-K teacher. I was born and raised in Malaysia. I came to United States for my college study. I obtained my bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering Louisiana State University.  I stayed home for 19 years and found my passion in education while doing homeschooling and raising up my three children with my supportive husband.  

This year will be my first year being a classroom teacher. I worked as a sub teacher for few months and paraprofessional as Special Education Aide with FBISD. I love working with children and inspiring them to enjoy learning. I love gardening, reading and painting during my free time. I am looking forward meeting you for this great school year!
