Hello to all of you!  I'm so excited to be joining the DCMS Maverick team this year.  To share just a little bit about myself.  I'm starting my 35 year in education. I love reading and traveling. 

     I will be teaching the 6-8 grade students new to the U.S. from all around the world.  As their ELA teacher they will begin reading, writing, listening and speaking English as well as learn their grade level curriculum. 

     I love to travel the world and learn new cultures so I can't wait to learn about my families and their cultures also.
